Where are you located?
We’re in Orchard Square — which has entrances on both Fargate and Leopold Street — in City Centre, Sheffield. We’re bang opposte Waterstones and one Subway stop away from TK Maxx.

Are children welcome?
Yes, children are always welcome.

Are dogs welcome?
Yes, dogs are welcome. We have free treats and water bowls. Ask at the bar.

Do you have outdoor seating?
Yes, we have seating for at least 50 people out front of the bar in Orchard Square. We have awnings to shelter you from the rain and heaters to fight off the chills. We also have a bifold, giving the whole bar an indoor-outdoor feel during warm weather.

Do you have disabled access?
Yes! We’re located on the ground floor with a double door entrance. We also have one of the most compliant disabled toilets in City Centre.

Do you take cash?
Yes, as long as it’s legit.

Do you sell drinks for takeaway?
Yes, we are both an on- and off-licence. We have possibly the best takeaway selection of any independent off-licence in City Centre.

Do you serve food?
Kind of. We allow outside food and tables have QR code menus that allow you to order takeaway from other venues in Orchard Square: Sheffield Plate and Proove Pizza. We also have a selection of packaged snacks on site.

Do you serve non-alcohol drinks?
Yes, loads! We make a selection of our own soft-drinks on site. We have a dedicated non-alcoholic draft beer line. We have a large selection of canned and bottled no- and low-alcohol beers and ciders. We also stock soft drinks from Karma Drinks. And we have filter coffee and tea. I think that’s it. Oh, we also have water. We can put ice in it for you.

Do you serve gluten-free drinks?
Yes! We have a dedicated gluten-free beer line, as well as plenty of other packaged gluten-free beer options. We also have Sheffield’s largest cider selection and the city’s best wine list.

I’ve heard you have a large drink selection. How many options do you have?
We have 20 draft lines covering beer, cider, wine, and sometimes mead. We have 2 cask lines. We always serve at least a dozen wines by the glass. We also serve cider, fruit wines, meads and more by the glass. We have a large selection of interesting spirits and mixers. We have four fridges full of packaged beer, cider, wine, and more — well over 150 takeaway options in total. We also have a library list of vintage wines, ciders, beers and more stashed in the back if you’re looking for something special.

Do you have Guinness?
No. But we do always have an independent nitro stout or porter on draft.

Then how am I supposed to split the G?
By going to Dog & Partridge.

Do you really only play vinyl records?
Yes. I think once a staff member thought the needle was damaged and we had records off for maybe an hour. Outside that, we’ve played vinyl every moment the bar has been open.

The music you guys play is awesome. Can you send me the playlist?
Thanks! But we have over 800 LPs stashed in the back of the bar. It’s too many to list.

Do you take bookings?

Will you host my event?
